A fire erupted in a hospital in the northern German city of Ludwigslust in the early hours of July 2, killing two patients and injuring more than 30 people.
The fire started in a ward and then spread to the roof area of the radiology department.
Police said firefighters received the alarm at around 4:30 a.m. Patients and staff were evacuated to safety. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
